I made this gorgeous table runner in under an hour and for under $45!
I used velvet fabric and tassels for my trim.
Here is what you’ll need.
Fabric (I used 3 yards but it depends on the length of your table)
A trim. 2 yards is plenty. pins, scissors, a measuring tape or ruler and a sewing machine.
1. Start out by laying out your fabric face down and fold it in half.
Cut it to the length an width that you want.
2. On one side pin the fabric together and sew a straight line down the side. Making a tube.
3. Pull the fabric through and flatten our so the seam is on the bottom in the center.
4. Pin on the tassels to the top and bottom of your runner. When pinning the trim fold in under at the sides to give it a finished look.
