photo-2-1Have you ever been to an amazing dinner and you only wished you had the recipe for a mouthwatering dish?

Well, this happens to me a lot.

When you are cooking an amazing meal anytime but especially on a holiday what better gift to leave your guests with than a personalized recipe booklet from that particular dinner!

We all put so much love into cooking for our friends and family, how neat for them to be able to recreate your fabulous food at home and have something to remember your time with.

I made these recipe booklets using:

A blank card (these normally come in sets of 12 or 24 at any drugstore or Michael’s)

A 8×11 piece of card stock

Patterned scissors

A hole punch

Computer paper in whatever color you want. Give yourself one page per recipe you intend to use.

Stapler

Glue

I started out by printing all of my recipes on the computer paper in a small enough font so that it will fit inside the blank card. Then I cut them all to the same size and stapled them together making a little booklet. Being sure to punch a hole in the same top left hand corner of each page. Next I printed out “Thanksgiving Recipes 2012” or whatever you want to call your booklet on my card stock. Using my scissors I cut it into a small square or circle and glued it to the front of the card. Next I glued the last page of the booklet to the inside of the card and punch a hole in the top left corner of the card and tied it with a ribbon. Easy and adorable!
