photo-4-2-262x3001I was at the store today and I was blown away by how expensive their wreaths were! Literally up to $130! Are the insane?

I thought it wouldn’t be that hard to make my own since there was no way in hell I would ever spend that much on a wreath!

I decided to use a real wreath rather than an artificial one.

This is a little more costly at $25, you could get an artificial for $15-$20 but I love the fresh pine smell.

Although, the perk with artificial is it’s an investment you only have to make once!

photo-1-300x2981I had extra ornaments and bells I had laying around that I thought would look really cute on the wreath.

I bought a big bow $5 and some green pipe cleaner (to tie the ornaments and bells in place) for $1.

Thread it through the opening of your ornaments or bells and tie it securely with the ornament facing up securing in the back of each branch as to not see the pipe cleaner. Make sure it is secure and cut off the excess.

Tie on your bow (the pre-made bows come with wire in the back)

You can also add fun things in like pine cones, using your pipe cleaner, fake holly and even fake berries.

This wreath took me about 15 minutes to put together and $30!
