Look no further! This project is super easy to do and takes less than 15 minutes from start to finish!

We are going to take Terra Cotta pots, I bought mine from Home Depot, $3 and $4 each and paint the bottoms in pretty pastel Spring colors. I bought 2 indoor plants as well at $4 each to plant in my pots when finished.

First, using masking tape I taped off the bottom of each pot making a straight line going around the pot about 2-3 inches from the bottom. Next, using a paintbrush I painted on my pretty blue and green pastel paints.

pictur-41-1Next, I potted my plants using potting soil and last but not least, made a cute little card out of cardstock from Michaels, $.79 per sheet and a BBQ skewer, I cut out 2 hearts in different shapes, glued them together, then glued them onto my BBQ skewer and stuck it into the soil.

To make 1 of these flower/pot arrangements it will cost you less than $10, and if you have paint at home then it will cost even less.

Maybe there are a few pots in your yard or garage that aren’t being used… now you can put them to great use.
