My Favorite Cocktail Of All Time, The Mint Julep.

picture-161-1

In celebration of The Kentucky Derby This Year I am throwing my First Annual How 2 Girl Kentucky Derby Ladies Luncheon! What Derby day would be complete without the famous Mint Julep?

derbyroses_576_012913This delicious cocktail is as much a part of Southern culture as hospitality. The Mint Julep is one of the most popular Southern cocktails out there and it goes exceedingly well with great company, watching pretty horses and last but not least and my favorite, huge hats! I hope you make these fabulous cocktails to watch the Derby and I can’t wait to see your Derby hats! Please make sure and email and tweet you hat pictures to me info@how2girl.com to win a fabulous gift bag with lots of amazing goodies like a Michaels Arts & Craft Gift Card, Zing Vodka, Main n’ Tail Hair Products, Starlooks Makeup, Jouier Makeup, Geek Eyewear, Yvette Yodeem Jewelry, Stack Wines and more!

I hope you enjoy your Mint Julep’s watching The Kentucky Derby this weekend as much as I do and I cannot wait to see your Derby hat creations!
