Looking for an easy and beautiful gift for that special woman in your life this Mother’s Day? Here is a cute and easy idea that looks like you spent forever putting together but it’s actually very quick, super simple and cost less than $25 if you go to a florist for an arrangement like this it’s going to cost you anywhere from $60-$100!
I always buy my flowers wholesale so if you have a local flower mart HIT IT UP!
I purchased Pink and Purple Roses, 2 stems of Hydrangea and a block of floral foam and then headed over to Michael’s to buy a fantastic basket on sale for $3.99.
First off I used a tbsp lemon juice, a tsp sugar and a tsp white vinegar to preserve my flowers.
Next, I lined the inside of my basket with saran wrap to prevent the floral foam from leaking.
After soaking the floral foam in water I placed in my basket and put it in the sink for 10 minutes to make sure all of the excess water drained out before starting.
I rotated my roses throughout the foam leaving two spaces for my Hydrangea’s.
Last but not lease I finished my arrangement off with card stock from Michael’s, letter stickers and ribbon.
