photo-1-81I recently threw a DIY wedding shower for a girlfriend. I had a small budget in mind but wanted to make it amazing regardless of a small budget or not.

photo-277-21For the centerpieces I used Ball jars from Michaels and filled them with baby pink roses and yellow roses. I bought small watering cans from Michaels and filled them with the roses and blue Hydrangeas.

A great tip when working with Hydrangea’s if they start to wilt put them in a bowl with ice water for an hour and they will perk right back up!

Next I headed over to the Dollar Store and picked up some picture frames, then I put cute pictures of the couple in the frames. Last but not least, I found some inexpensive birdcages at $5 a piece at Ross and filled them with candles from the Dollar Store.

photo 5On the tables I put down blue table cloths and put down a dryer sheet to keep it in place.

Super easy and each centerpiece cost less than $15. All of the guests LOVED them! I must say, they turned out really cute and sweet!

There is nothing better than personalized centerpieces! They were a huge hit!
