Who has extra storage space in their house?

My guess is if you did at one point you probably have filled it up already.

As organized and efficient as I try like to think I am, my fiancé may disagree with that but I have a system and I’m the one putting things away so as long as it makes sense to me that’s all that matters!

But seriously, no matter how hard I try it seams like there is never enough room for miscellaneous things.

After reorganizing my closet last week I realized that the bin containing all of our wrapping paper actually took up a significant amount of space. After trying to rearrange for 20 minutes I thought there has got to be a better way to store this where I can get to it when I need it but without taking up so much space!

Here’s what I did to solve my problem.

I bought a small roll of copper hobby wire at Home Depot for under $5.  Next I nailed two screws into one wall at the same height and make sure you measure the width in-between the screws.

Next repeat on the opposite facing wall.

Don’t hammer them in all the way yet because next you’re going to take your wire and tie a knot around one screw and bring it across to the second screw on the opposite wall and tie another knot securing the wire in place.

Repeat for your second set of nails make sure they are hammered in all the way and you’re good to go!

Now take your wrapping paper rolls out of that bulky container and watch your storage space grow like a magic trick right before your eyes!
