Tomorrow night the bombshells of Victorias Secret have a swimsuit special airing on CBS at 10/9 central. These women are all knockouts with different looks but the one thing they all have in common is that signature sexy Victorias Secret hair. It’s the perfect combo of loose curls and volume while still looking effortless. For years, no matter how I tried to curl my hair I caws never able to recreate my favorite look which became very frustrating until one sunny California day a few years ago when I met one of the top hairdressers for Victorias Secret. He taught me the best hair tricks ever that he uses to get the girls photo shoot and catwalk ready. I couldn’t believe it, I finally had the magic formula. It’s super easy, simple to do and all around pretty dummy proof. Today I’m going to show you how to get the same gorgeous hair at home with these fantastic tips that every girl needs to know! The ideal hair length for this style is medium to long with lots of layers but it also works great on a bob right above the shoulders.
Here’s what you’ll need:
A 1 to 1 1/2 inch barrel curling iron
Hairspray with a good amount of hold. My absolute favorite is Loreal Elnett extra hold hairspray available at Target for $9.99 click here. This is the spray that all of the pros use for every photo shoot and fashion show. It’s the best!!!
A fine toothed comb
A hair clip
Start by sectioning off your hair leaving a small amount of hair down around the bottom of your head. Put the rest up in a bun on the top of your head to keep out of the way. Spray it generously with hair spray. Using a fine toothed comb backtease the hair at the root underneath the section minimally. Don’t worry if you look like a crazy lady you will brush it out later.

Start at the root of your section and holding the section of hair at the bottom. Wrap it all the way around until all of your hair is being curled and you will hold onto the bottom, try to get the hair at the end as close to the barrel as possible without burning your finger.
After about 10 seconds unwrap the hair and you will have perfect barrel curls.
Continue this techniuqe around the rest of your head curling in sections. When you get to the hair around the face I generally always curl away from my face, think Farrah Fawcett. When done curling flip your head over, hair spray all of your hair, then break it up with your fingers for a tosseled look.
