Whether you have friends over or you’re celebrating with the kids, this DIY confetti idea works great for everyone and also makes for a great gift if you’re attending a friends party. When the ball drops use this homemade confetti to celebrate in style! It’s fun, it’s cute and the best part is, it’s super simple.
Here’s what you’ll need:
Tinsel or Aluminum Foil (for sparkle)
Colorful Scrap Paper (News Paper or Wrapping Paper works great too!)
Scissors
Elmers Glue and Glitter (optional)
Scotch Tape
Using scissors cut up your colorful paper and tinsel or aluminum foil (for some shine) into tiny pieces.
If you are using wrapping paper go with patterns that have gold or silver for extra sparkle. You’ll need about a cup of paper and foil shredded per cone.
Next using a large piece of wrapping paper or newspaper make a cone securing in place with scotch tape. Using your Elmers Glue write out 2015 or any message you like on the cone, cover in glitter then shake off. (optional) Once it dries, place your confetti inside and enjoy!
