Who says a girl needs to spend a fortune to get a killer look? With Valentines Day right around the corner every girl is looking for the perfect way to show off their beauty from the inside out. Kicking off the most romantic day of the year with a bang! Armored with inspiration from some of my favorite bombshells like Gisele Bundchen and Candice Swanpool, I set out to find everything I needed to get the the sexiest V-Day look ever! As I wandered into Forever21, looking to recreate the coveted V.S. Angel look, I was astonished by the selection of makeup available all in the $4-$15 price range. After browsing through the different bronzers, blushes, lashes and lip glosses I knew I was well on my to recreating a very, very sexy look this Valentines Day in 10 easy steps and on a budget every girl can afford!
Here’s what you’ll need:
Brushes Great assortment for the money, plus they have hearts!
Face Primer This is amazing. It gives your skin a silky finish to make your foundation go on nice and smooth.
Foundation The perfect amount of coverage. Evens skin tone out while still letting your natural beauty shine through.
Luminizer This is a fantastic illuminator with a gold sheen. Apply to your cheek bones, brow bones, upper lip and the bridge of your nose to get luminous highlights.
Pressed Powder Great amount of coverage, matte finish but not too thick.
Bronzer Not too heavy like a lot of bronzers. This one gives you a natural sun kissed look without the worry of looking orange.
Blush I mixed a matt bright pink and a light pink shimmer together to get the perfect flirty V-Day shade.
The Natural Eye Shadow Pallet My favorite warm eyeshadow pallet I’ve found to date! From dark browns to golds and even pearl shades to highlight the corners of your eyes and brow bone, this pallet features everything you need.
Creme/Liquid Eyeliner Comes with a brush and goes on evenly and smooth. Easier than an ordinary liquid, this creme base is liner is idiot proof and even comes with two shadows to make it look smokey.
Mascara Say hello to long sexy lashes without any clumps!
Faux Lashes I’m an expert on lashes and these rocked! Plus each pack comes with three sets.
Lipstick I chose a vibrant pink and it stayed on all day!
Lip Gloss Great coverage & not too thick.
Without further a due. Steal my look for your Valentines Day!
Step 1. Apply primer, foundation and concealer.
Step 2. Apply luminizer/illuminator on the parts of your face that the sun would naturally light such as your cheek bones and the top pf your forehead by your hairline.
Step 3. Apply powder.
Step 4. Apply bronzer concentrating on your cheekbones, the bridge of your nose and your lids.
Step 5. Smile and apply blush to the apples of your cheeks, making sure to blend.
Step 6. Apply a medium brown base coat of eye shadow using a folded tissue paper to prevent fallen particles under your eyes. This is also a great trick to give you a cat eye.
Step 7. Apply a gold or bronzed shadow to your lid and around your lash line giving you a smokey effect.
Step 8. Apply cream liner with a angular brush in an outward sweeping motion giving you a cat eye effect while making your eyes look bigger.
Step 9. Heat up an eyelash curler for a few seconds before curling your lashes to magnify the curl. Then apply mascara & lashes. After you apply the glue be sure to shake for about 10 seconds letting the glue air dry a little and get tacky rather than runny.
Step 10. Apply lipstick. Then using your gloss apply only on the center of the top and bottom lip to give you a fuller looking pout.
This look is fun, simple and quick to do and the best part is… it didn’t break the bank. Just remember, you don’t have to spend a lot to get a great look.
