flowersbhh1If you happen to be in the city of angels during Oscar week there’s no better place to take in the scenery and spot your favorite stars and oscar nominees than the world renowned Beverly Hills Hotel. Being most iconic hotel in the world, this pink hot spot is the perfect place to come in for a drink, grab a bite and hob knob with your favorite celebs during tinsletowns biggest week of the year! It seems every day the BHH has been hosting events leading up to the Oscars. I have been lucky enough to attend a few of them and couldn’t help but notice the beautiful floral arrangements set up in the lobby! I took a few pictures and decided to recreate them and show you how you can get the same look without breaking the bank with a florist for your next party or event!

flowersbhh2This project is super easy, took less than 5 minutes to do and cost under $40. This arrangement would cost at least $150 at a florist. Here’s what you’ll need:

orchids

roses

tea leaves in green & purple

floral foam

floral tape

floral wire

staple gun

scissors

1. Soak your floral foam in water. Cut it to fit your vase. Next, cut your roses to the desired length and place them in the floral foam keeping the placement close together in the center of the vase.

4. Using floral tape, wrap up the bottom of your cut orchid stem to keep from drying out. Next bend your floral wire in half and wrap around your orchid stem to help secure into place in-between your roses and your tea leaves.
