Haven’t had a chance to run to the store yet to get a card, or maybe you want to save some money on your VDay cards since each one runs you from $4-$6! That adds up when you are giving a lot out! Here are some fun ideas to save some money and make personalized cute cards.
I bought a pack of 10 plain red cards and envelopes from Michael’s for $5 and had fun decorating each one differently using stickers, lace trims, beads, pearl stickers, ribbons, glue and glitter.
One fun idea I had was using adhesive paper printing out a picture of that special someone and decorating your card with it, in this case I cut the picture into a heart and sealed my envelope with it.
When all is said and done each card will cost anywhere from $1-$2 and they are adorable! Who wouldn’t love a handmade card? I know I would! The best part is this is a fun and inexpensive activity to do with your kids! I did it with Nikki’s girls and we had a blast!
