I was at this amazing house ware store the other day and I saw the cutest plastic molds with little birds. They were $2.95 each and I bought 2. I thought what a cute idea for and inexpensive dessert or treats around the house. They can be refrigerated and won’t go bad and are nice to keep on hand for unexpected visitors or just a yummy snack.
I bought 3 bars of Ghirardelli White Chocolate and melted them in a saucepan on low heat. With a spatula I put the melted chocolate in one of the molds. Next I used red food coloring to turn the chocolate light pink, stirred it and then with my spatula I put it in the second mold. I placed both molds in the fridge for about 20 minutes. Turn the molds over and remove the pieces. I garnished with some fresh flowers for a little extra oomph. Enjoy!
