What better way to show off your festive sexy side than with beautiful nails designed like a candy cane?
I have always wanted to try something like this but I tend to stick to solid nail polish because I thought getting creative with them would most likely turn into a disaster!
Not so! I came across this easy and fun way to get gorgeous nails without going to the nail salon and without getting a headache doing them yourself.
Here’s what you will need:
White nail polish
Red adhesive nail polish ( the kind that look like nails and you put on like a sticker)
Sally’s makes great ones in red available at ever Rite Aid or CVS for $6.95.
Directions:
Ahead of time cut the adhesive nail polish into very thing diagonal strips.
Next paint your nails solid white with two coats. (I am obsessed with ESSIE)
After your polish is dry, follow the instructions on the adhesive polish strips and put them over the white in a diagonal pattern from top to bottom leaving an even amount of space between the red and the white.
Finish with a clear no chip coat.
